COLLECTIONS
You’ll find the best reflection of Emma’s creative identity in conceptual projects; ventures comprising collaborations and passion projects.
These collections include a range of photographic approaches, from documentary & journalistic perspective to conceptual still life; all maintaining the same objective of having a story to be told. The common conceptual element is the relationship between earth, nature and society. Through these photographs, you’ll gain insight into Emma’s view of the world around her.
WHAT’S UP WITH THE SKY
‘What’s up with Sky?’ is a visual investigation of this shift in environmental stability, and the subsequent consequences we are struggling with from it. Documented on the island of Cyprus, the project examines the ambient air pollution at a smaller, more local level, in a bid to illustrate the insignificance of who and where, as our planet knows no boundaries – we all live under the same sky.
BLOODHOUND
Bloodhound offers an intimate glimpse into the journey of self-discovery and self-reflection that troops go through when they find themselves in an in-between space, a place away from the conflict of battle, but also a place they cannot call home.
Our presence on Earth has become known as a time of “distinct geological change” as our activities have impacted the environment around us so much that we have pushed forward into a new era of history – the Anthropocene. No corner of this planet has been left untouched; our footprints can be found everywhere.
